Taylor's POV
______________________________________
Walking onto the plane, I had a brief glimpse of the night skies of my hometown before I was passing the flight attendant, offering a small smile, and finding my seat. Waiting for takeoff, I glanced around at the other passengers. I saw one or two people from my town, and a couple that looked they probably came from the town over, and the rest strangers. Looking behind me, an open white door shows me the view of the small kitchen and a red curtain.
Sighing, I lean back into my seat. I would forever be jealous of the people behind that curtain. I could never afford first class. I wondered if there was anyone famous on board, then deleted that thought because I was in Tennessee of all places. I closed my eyes and tried to nap as I felt the plane begin its takeoff.
Ninety minutes later, I opened my eyes and looked around the cabin. Some people were reading , others listening to iPods, but most were sleeping. Looking up, I saw the tiny airport bathroom at the front was occupied, turning around, I saw the one at the back was too. Sighing, I asked a nearby flight attendant if there was another laboratory I could use. The woman pointed me towards the curtain in the back. Thanking her, I stood up and walked to it.
Opening the curtain, I stepped in and walked across the aisle, not making eye contact with any other passengers in the first class section. Swiftly waking towards the door at the back, I caught a glimpse of hazel eyes looking in my direction.

Sitting back in my seat, I took out my iPod, and promptly fell asleep.

After landing, I decided to wait for the plane to empty before leaving. Watching the other people slowly leaving, I chose to kill time and pulled out my guitar, expertly tuning it before playing one of my original songs, Tim McGraw, the first song I ever wrote.
"He said the way my blue eyes shine,
put those Georgia stars to shame that night,
I said, 'that's a lie.'
Just a boy in a Chevy truck.."
The sound of applause snapped me back into reality. Looking up, I saw a guy, about my age, with black, curly hair and piercing hazel eyes clapping and smiling. "That was amazing" he said
Blushing, I smiled and said, "Thanks"
He grinned even more and reached out a hand, "I'm Darren"
"Taylor" I replied, accepting the hand. Slowly I started gathering my things and noticed him waiting. He nervously chuckled and scratched the back of his neck as we started heading towards the baggage claim.
"So, what song were you singing back there? I don't think I've ever heard it." he asked
"Oh, it's because I wrote it. It's called Tim McGraw" His eyes widened, "Wow, well it was really good, Taylor" Wow, just the way he said my named sounded amazing. Picking up our bags, I thanked him for the compliment and he asked, "So, where are you headed?"
"Um" I looked down at the paper I got out of my bag. "4th avenue, you?"
He laughed "Wow, small world, huh? Me too"
"I'm in the Sunrise Apartments" I told him. He did a double take, "No way! Me too!" His smile is adorable!
"Oh, cool! Want to share a cab?" He looked down and blushes, actually blushes!. "Well, actually I have a driver picking me up, but hey! I'll drive you, you should come with me" He said with a smile
"Oh, wow, thank you" Who is this guy? He has a personal driver? I bet he's super rich. Or famous!
"No prob" he said as a black escalade pulled up. I gulped, and slid in blushing as he opened the door for me
"Hey Jack" Darren said "We have a guest. This is Taylor, she's in the same complex as me, I told her you could give her a ride, okay?"
'Jack' looked at me in the rearview mirror and then back to Darren, "Are you sure Darren?" he asked narrowing his eyes. Darren rolled his eyes and looked at me. "You aren't some crazed fangirl, are you?"
My eyes widened as I stuttered out, " Umm, why? I-I only just met you" Darren actually looked surprised for a second before smiling back at his driver, "See, she doesn't even know who I am, it's perfectly safe" What? Oh crap! He is famous!
"Wait, should I know you?"
He actually looked nervous for a second before answering when we started driving. "I'm Darren Criss. I don't know if you've heard of me" Oh! there's that blush again!
"Oh no, sorry, but I've never been one to keep up with that kind of stuff"
He chuckled "Don't worry, it's okay" he said.
We settled into a comfortable silence, soon arriving at our destination.
Getting out, Darren and I thanked Jack and walked inside the building. I clicked the number five on the elevator, while Darren pressed eleven. Opening up to my floor , I turned to him. "Thank you for the ride, it was really nice meeting you"
"Yeah sure, you too Taylor" I smiled and walked out into the hallway.
"Wait Taylor!" I stopped and turned to him. He looked away and when he looked back, his dazzling eyes looked anxious, yet hopeful. "D-Do you think I could maybe get your number? You know, if you wanted to hang out sometime?"
No Way!
"Yeah sure, that'd be cool" I answered as my cheeks turned red. "Awesome" He typed in my number as I read him each digit. "Thanks" he said.
"You're welcome. Goodnight"
"Bye"

I walked into my apartment, noticing the empty living room. Getting ready for bed, I saw the single mattress on the floor, with a dresser beside it. Nothing else in the room, aside from my suitcase of clothes and such.
A few minutes later, I waas snuggling under my covers when I heard the vibration of my cell phone on the dresser. Checking it, I noticed a new text message from an unknown number.
'Goodnight <3 x -Darren'
Smiling, I sent a quick 'sweet dreams' before saving the number in my contacts as 'Darren<33' and falling into a peaceful sleep.
